The fish green ceviche is spectacular !
My mom and I checked out this spot while waiting for our dog at the vet hospital a couple stores down. We ordered the house special taco, ceviche, fish broth, and fish by the kilogram (which came with fresh corn tortillas). Everything was so fresh and full of flavor! Portions were generous — we had plenty to share. Since it was a Monday night, we were the only ones dining in, and the service was super quick and attentive. My mom said it’s now her new favorite seafood restaurant, and we’ll definitely be coming back whenever we’re in the area!
The place is located by a busy street, so you may zoom by it and not think of the place. The outside looks ordinary and should I say boring. However the place is a hidden gem. The food is incredibly layered. They mix match flavors, that tickle the tongue, that are extraordinary. For example: hibiscus sauce fish, almond pesto. I recommend the ceviche trio for a tastings. I had a clam chowder and I expected the basic but received something with a little more spices.
What a hidden gem Mariscos Don Pepe is. While in the area I was looking to eat something. So I decided to stop in and give this place a try. I'm so happy I did. The minute you arrive to the minute you leave you could not ask for better customer service. Our server was truly amazing. I had sea bass tacos that I never had before. Also tried the salmon pasta that was outstanding. if you are looking for a nice place for lunch or dinner then you owe yourself a trip to Mariscos Don Pepe.
